Always thought the 2-bl class was supposed to an entry level, low budget(if there is such) class. Now guys have more $ in shocks than you can buy a late model roller for. If teams want to spend that kind of money, run Super's. Give the class back to the up and comers so they can learn and get exsperience before they are out there with big money teams. When you have 2-bl cars out timing Supers everyweek it appears to show a problem with the class. Not to mention getting 5-8 cars getting tore up weekly.JMO

mod. stock and street stock.....same rules pretty much for both classes..except floor pans, and restrictor plates. not enough difference in the two. not enough cars for both to survive. didnt get to go to first rules meeting, but looking forward to the next one.

Street Stock- What size carburetor? And I think it should be an 8" wheel max. Also think besides the restrictor plate, that the motor needs to be backed down a bit.
Modified Stock- I thought we agreed on one weight of 3200lbs no weight breaks.

i talked to Jimmy yesterday and the reason for the classes staying simular is in case the 2 classes doesnt work so that we all can go back together. which actually makes a good point. he also talked like there may be a final meeting in the next few days.

Barry, me and my uncle looked at this set of rules, we took it as you couldn't shorten them.(REAREND must be in factory stock position.) The Modified class says they can be shortened for pinion angle.

I know if we cant shorten our top trail arms our cars lose forward bite. so if we go with stock top trailing arms take away lowerblocks for leaf cars and that away nobody has pinion angle. but there are still easy ways around that like rotating your spring mounts on rearend and using offset bushings on rear.

these rules was modified at the dec 1 meeting we had at the track. several things were added and changed.(after being voted and agreed on). jimmy should have them printed so josh can post them. top arms can be shortened for pinion angle, but no adjustable arms. also rubber bushings only.. cant help u with 2 barrell rules. didnt attend that meeting.
